Fee Increase

Doctors private consultation fees will be $82.00 from 15th January 2024.

AS OF OCTOBER 1st 2023 DOCTORS WILL BE CHARGING All PATIENTS PRIVATELY FOR SATURDAY CONSULTS.

This will include all Pension Card and Health Care Card Holders as well as Children.

If you have cold/flu symptoms, shortness of breath, fever/chills, had contact with someone with COVID-19 please call us on (03) 9796 1445 before making an appointment.

Missed Appointments

When you forget or cancel your appointment without any notice, Doctors are usually unable to fill that appointment slot.
As a courtesy contact is made with patients to confirm the date and time of their appointment with the doctor, via SMS 24 hours before.
So please notify the clinic immediately if you are unable to make the appointment.

Procedure Costs

As of 1st January 2024, all procedures performed by any doctor within The Medical Clinic will incur a fee, with a Medicare rebate processed online.

There will also be a private procedure fee of $40.00 for concession card holders & $55.00 for private patients (NO REBATE), please refer to your doctor or receptionist for these fees.

Doctors at this practice do not prescribe any drugs of addiction, opioids and benzodiazepines including:

  • Diazepam (Valium)
  • Endone
  • Oxycontin
  • Morphine
  • Alprazolam
  • Amphetamines
  • Methadone
  • Morphine
  • Suboxone

Flu Vaccines

Government funded flu vaccines will be available Mid April.  Private Flu Vaccines are now available at a cost of $15.00.
